Parents: Aaron Voris Allen(1814-1889) and Elizabeth Alice White(1822-1876). He moved to Giles Co. Tenn. between 1844 and 1846 where he lived the rest of his life. He served in the Confederate Army, Civil War as a Private, Company K, 53 Regiment, Tennessee Infantry. He married Margaret J. Anderson on Oct. 16, 1866 in Giles Co. Tenn. Their children were Lizzie Zelia(1867-1887), Emma J.(1870-1875), Lucy(1872-1961), Annie(1874-1900), Ella Amanda(1876-1926) and Claudia H. "Cordie"(1881-1954). They are all buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Giles Co. Tennessee.
