ROBERT ADAMS
Robert E. 'Bob' Adams, 71, of Lucasville, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1991, at a Chillicothe hospital.
Born May 12, 1920, in Pueblo, Colo., a son of the late George and Bessie Soner Adams, he was a Navy veteran of World War II, a retired pipefitter, a member of Pipefitters Union Local 577, Peerless Post Loyal Order of Moose, Portsmouth Aerie Fraternal Order of Eagles, James Dickey and Russel Williams posts American Legion, and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
His wife Ella Evolene Logan Adams, died June 28, 1987.
Surviving are a son, Tom Adams of Oakland City, Ind.; two daughters, Delores Frazier of Lancaster, and Brenda Pederson of Lucasville; a brother, James Adams of Portsmouth; two sisters, Freda Burdette of Picayune, Miss., and Mary Jane Switalski of Fr. Lauderedale, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville, with the Rev. William Maroon officiating, and interment in Lucasville Cemetery, with graveside military rites by William A. Baker Post American Legion.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Funeral home.
