Joseph G. Boge
Joseph G. Boge, 75, of 2070 W. Third St., died at 11:55 pm Saturday at Mercy Medical Center.
His wife, the former Emma Loecke, died in 1956.
Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here, with burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Centralia, Ia. Friends may call until 9 pm Monday at the Hoffmann Mortuary, where the rosary will be said at 8 pm Monday.
Mr. Boge, a retired farmer of the Peosta, Ia., area. He was born in Dyersville, Ia. He was a member of St. Joseph's Holy Name Society and the United Commercial Travelers.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Loras (Rita) Koerperich and Mrs. Donald (Sylvia) Westhoff, and a son, Harold U. Boge, all of Dubuque; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anton (Frances) Fortmann and Mrs. Alma Hoefer, both of Dyersville, and Mrs. Michael (Edna) Urbain of Epworth, Ia.; and three brothers, Charles Boge of Dyersville, Ralph Boge of Farley, Ia., and Walter Boge of Epworth.
