Aquilla M. "Dude" Miller, 86, of Kansas City, Kansas, died October 10th at Bethany Medical Center. He was a lifelong Kansas City, Kansas, resident. Mr. Miller was a crane operator for Peck-Wolfe-Sand Co. for 50 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Local 101 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.

He was survived by six sons, George L. Miller of Overland Park, Edward Miller of Tenino,, Wash., Virgil Miller and Robert Craig of Kansas City and Henry Craig and Francis Craig of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Donna Rose Anderson of Kansas City, Kan.; two brothers, Henry Miller of La Jolla, Calif., and Jerry Miller of Camdenton, Mo.; three sisters, Margaret Kindred of Tonganoxie, and Dove Gosney and Dolly Gable of Kansas City, Kan.; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Friends called on Wednesday evening at the Amos Family Chapel in Shawnee. Services were held early Thursday afternoon at the Amos Family Chapel. Burial followed in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens Cemetery.
