The deceased was born in Nörviä County Östergötländ Sweden,
April 2, 1829 the son of Hansa Pella and Margaritha Ansdotter Andersson. He was married to Miss Louisa Larson, in 1857.
In 1882 he came to Scandia, Kans. ware he lived on a farm in Courtland Township, until the death of his wife, which cccured in December, 1901. Since that time he has made his home with his son C. G. Aspegren White Rock Township where he died. His later years were darkened by
affliction from rheumatism and paralyses. His tired body, set free
from all pain, was laid to rest in Riverview Cemetery, at Scandia Thursday Feb 15.
