PINETOPS — Ruby Pittman Abrams passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Pinetops Baptist Church with the Rev. John Melancon officiating. Burial will follow in Macclesfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Abrams was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Abrams; a son, Charles Randy Abrams; and brother, Charlie Pittman Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Abrams and wife, Della, of Pinetops, and Ricky Abrams and wife, Kay, of Emerald Isle; a brother, Johnny Pittman and wife, Daisy, of Rocky Mount; special friend and companion, Archie Baker of Saratoga; and two grandchildren, Randy Abrams of Emerald Isle and Kyle Abrams of Fuquay Varina.
Friends are invited to visit the family from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home at 306 N. 2nd St. in Pinetops.
