Mrs. Edith M. Deshong
Mrs. Edith M. (Beatty) Deshong, widow of Clarence Deshong, Buck Valley, died early yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Golden, Little Orleans, after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Ray) Beatty, Buck Valley. She was a member of the Buck Valley Christian Church.
Surviving are children, Miss Catherine Deshong, Mrs. Marvin Golden, Little Orleans; brother, Arthur Beatty, Amaranth, Pa.; sisters, Mrs. Sarah Unger, Stotlers Crossroads, W. Va., Mrs. Mary Sipes, Largent, W. Va.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, where the funeral will be held Friday at 8 p.m., with further services at Buck Valley Christian Church at 10 a.m., Rev. William Hendershot officiating with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
