Claude J. Allen Sr, 62, of 1541 NW 43, died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital. He had been in ill health the last 10 years. Allen suffered a heart attack Saturday and was rushed to the hospital where he died. A roofing contractor, Allen had lived here for 19 years. He came here from Atlanta, GA. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Jack J. Jr, 2115 1/2 NW 10; a daughter, Mrs Jack Frank, of the home; three brothers, 1125 N. Lee, Bertram of Boston, Mass., and H.E. of Kansas City; and a sister, Mrs Eva Rollins of Atlanta, GA. Services will be at 10 am Tuesday in the Watts Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
