Beatrice Johnson, 90, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, August 29, 2011.
She is the daughter of the late Edward Gaston McSwain, Sr. and Dora Lawing McSwain also wife of the late Fred Harold Johnson.
Beatrice was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her sons: Fred H. Johnson, Jr of Charlotte, Robert D. Johnson of Charlotte; Daughters: Patricia L. Parker and husband, Dale of Winston-Salem, NC , Sheila D. Johnson of Denver, NC and Carol J. Wakefield and husband Lenny of Belmont. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:30am, Friday, September 2, 2011 at Forest Lawn-West Cemetery, Charlotte with Rev.Joe Lawing officiating.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and especially Home Health Care nurse "Corrina" for all their love and support during Beatrice's illness.
