Mrs. Emma Belitz, 97, formerly of Cleveland died Wednesday at Terrace Nursing Home, Sheboygan, where she had resided since 1962. Funeral services will be Friday at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, the Rev. August Grollmus officiating. Burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, town of Centerville.

Mrs. Belitz was born Oct. 16, 1868, in the Town of Centerville, daughter of the late Friedrich and Henriette Sprenger Huhn. She was married in February, 1896, to William Belitz, and the couple resided in the Village of Cleveland, operating Belitz Hardware Co. When they retired from the business in 1929 they located on a farm in the Town of Newton. He died in 1949 and Mrs. Belitz moved to Sheboygan.

Survivors are a son, Milton of Cleveland; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Hess of Two Rivers, Mrs. Sylvia Duessing of Sheboygan and Mrs. Herbert (Erla) Schachtschneider of Glenview, Ill.; a brother, August of California; a sister, Miss Louisa Huhn of Chicago; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A son, a daughter, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
