DESMOND--Hartford, Connecticut, December 24, 2007, Kathryn (Desmond) Bracken, 92, wife of the late Hon. John J. Bracken, a former Attorney General of the State of Connecticut and Superior Court Judge, survived by her four children and their spouses, Marianne and her husband Atty. John J. O'Neil, Jr. of Simsbury, Atty. John J. Bracken III and his wife Sherri of Avon, Meg Bracken Cherchia and her husband Peter of Medway, MA, Kitty-Jo Reynolds and her husband John of Bloomfield; her brother, William Desmond and his wife Justine of Madison; six grandchildren, Katie Carron and her husband John, Amy Fissell and her husband Mark, John J. O'Neil III and his fiancé Danielle Courtier, Sara Cherchia, Elizabeth Cherchia, and Paul Cherchia, and 3 great grandchildren; Jack, Brenna, and Ryan. She was predeceased by her son William D. Bracken and her brother the Rev. John Desmond. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday Dec. 29th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Hopmeadow St. Simsbury. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
