Katherine was the daughter of John Wilson & Manerva Frances (Crume) Sitton.

She married Thomas Taylor Ricks in Collin Co, TX on Feb. 11, 1891, when she was 16 years old.

Their children were: Rosie Lee, Cecil Thomas, Willie Belle, Frank Eldridge, Golden Dorsey, & Ruby Ione.

Federal Census Records show they were living in Bryan Co, OK in 1910. For several years they lived in Kemp.

Thomas and Katherine died in Yuba; Thomas on Dec. 3, 1953, and Katherine on 7 Jun 1957.
