Early Morning Tragedy Occurs On Highway 77
Evelyn Ford 22, of Farmers Branch and her cousin H. D. Ogden, 33, of Carrollton, were injured fatally at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, when the car in which they were riding struck a block of wood, slithered out of control and rolled into a field on Highway 77 a mile north of Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Miss Ford, sister of Justice of the peace Perry Ford of Farmers Branch, died at 5:10 a.m. at St. Paul Hospital. Ogden died at 10:40 a.m. at St. Paul.
