Services for James E. Adair, 67, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in Smith Funeral Chapel with Reverend Wayne Brown officiating.
Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery. He died Tuesday night at Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired oil field employee and his wife preceded him in death in May.
Survivors include one daughter, Patty Shropshire of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Jack of Tulsa and Glen of Checotah; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Summers and Mrs. Jess Frederick, both of Checotah and Mrs. Marie Washman of Arlington, Texas; and three grandchildren.
