Carl Kimel Dies in Forsyth County.

Carl C. Kimel who resided on Route 4 in Forsyth County, died at his home Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock after being in declining health for six months. He had been seriously ill for some time.

Mr. Kimel was born November 25, 1899 in Davidson County, the son of J.P. and Ada Hill Kimel.
He had lived in the present community all his life and at the present home place for the past 20 years. He was a nephew of Tom C. Kimel, Jailer and Deputy Sheriff of this city.

For 15 years, until his health failed, Mr. Kimel was a cabinet maker for Snyder Lumber Company. He was an active member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church and Sunday School. His wife, the former Miss Elma Snyder, died August 12, 1943.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Louise Kimel andMiss Carmell Kimel; two sons, John and Robert Kimel; his parents all of Winston-Salem, Route 4. Five sisters, Mrs. W.R. Patterson, Advance, Mrs. L.S. Shields, Mrs. R.F. Lineback and Mrs. T.N. Doub, all of Route 4; and Mrs. R.B. Pilkenton of Miami, Fla; and two brothers, Lester and Dan W. Kimel, both of Winston-Salem, Route 4.
