Syracuse Newspaper - Saturday, June 17, 1989 - Homer - Services for David J. DaFoe Sr., 52, of 15 Center St., who died Wednesday in Warwick, will be at 2 p.m. today at Briggs-Hall Memorial Home. Burial will be in Cold Brook Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, 11 N. Main St. A native of Cold Brook, Mr. DaFoe was a life resident of the Homer area. He was a journeyman and lineman, working on electrical transmission lines throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. DaFoe was a member for more than 35 years of Local 1249, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member of the Cortland Lodge, BPOE. Surviving are his wife, June Root; three sons, David, Clinton and Raymond, all of Homer; a daughter, Veronica Stagg of Homer; three brothers. Lee of North Carolina, Robert of Little York and George of Virginia; a sister, Gloria D. Gladding of Canandaigua; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
