I don't know a lot about Robert other than info. from his wife Maxine's obituary. He did die quite young for most of their Armstrong's lived to be in their 80s. Info. has he was living in Decatur, TN at the time of his death but he died in Shelby Co. TN most likely in a Memphis hosptial. So far I haven't found an obit on him.
They had sons David M. Armstrong and Robert Leo Armstrong Jr., four gr.children and 1 g.gr.child when his wife Maxine died. I don't think she married again for she is buried beside Robert in this cemetery under the Armstrong name...
