He was born March 23, 1928, in Bula, a son of the late Charles and Emma Longstreth Tennant.
Mr. Tennant was retired from Accurate Forging in Brave, where he worked as a hot press operator.
He attended Blacksville Baptist Church for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Lantz Tennant, and a daughter, Melanie Tennant of Dayton, Ohio.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Weldon Tennant, and two sisters, Dorothy Hennen and Mildred Wilson.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 4.
Interment will follow in Blacksville Cemetery.
