He was born in Manitowoc County on May 21, 1910, a son of the late Ferdinand and Alma Jawort. He attended the Red Arrow district school, and graduated from Manitowoc High School in 1928. He was employed at the Kohler Company and then at the National Plasticrafters Company for the past 12 years until illness forced his retirement in April. On April 28, 1956, he married Miss Kathleen Rubado, also of Sheboygan. Mr. Jawort was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, with the Reverend John F. Henning, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Saxon cemetery in the Town of Centerville. Friends may call at the Bellhorn Funeral chapels from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until time of service.
