Mavis, was born in Mason City, Iowa on November 19, 1924. At five month old, she was taken to the University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, where she developed pneumonia and erysepelas of neck and face. She died on May 25,1925 and is buried at Brush Point Cemetery.
