Mrs. M.C. Tipton, 75, died in the Breckenridge hospital following an illness of several weeks.

Sarah Belle Tipton made her home on the Tipton ranch, 15 miles northwest of Breckenridge. She had been in Stephens County since 1883 coming here as a young woman from Tennessee, where she was born.

Survived by one son - W.T. Tipton, who lived on the ranch; three daughters - Mrs. B.C. McCarty, who lives on the ranch; Mrs. J.J. Wragg of Breckenridge and Mrs. J.R. Tracey of Corona, New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister - Mrs. Elizabeth Price of Alcoa, Tennessee; one brother - Albert McDonald of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Services were held at the ranch with Rev. A.J. Morgan officiating. Interment was held in the Tipton cemetery.
