Bessie Jones, was born as Mary Elizabeth 'Bessie' Cade on July 12,1871, to Benjamin Hale Cade and E.J. 'Betty' Williams who were married on January 1,1866 in Texas. She had an older sister Lousia Partlena(1869).
Bettie died some time between 1871 and 1874, as Benjamin married Mary Lizabeth James on September 30, 1974. Bessie and maybe her sister were living with their Uncle John Columbus 'Lum' Cade, till their father got married again.
After their father married again, the girls came back to live with their father, and they had twelve more brothers and sisters; Samuel(1875), John(1877), James(1879), Noah(1881), Thomas(1883), Grover(1884), Lizabeth 'Dollie'(1886), William 'Bill'(1888), Myrtle(1889), Sarah 'Anna'(1891, Edward 'Ed'(1892) and Viron(1893).
Bessie married Robert James Jones sometime before 1889 as their son Marion Vernon was born on October 25, 1889. They had three more children, Mattie Carrall(1892), William Sterling(1894) and Alana Lois(1896).
Robert died in 1896. In the 1900 Census, Bessie and her children were living with her brother-in-laws, William E, John K, and Charlie A Jones, in Snyder, Scurry Co, Texas.. In the 1910 Census, Bessie and John K are listed as married and living in Jones Co, Texas. The Census for 1920 show them in Datil, Socorro, New Mexico.
Have no record of John since then. Bessie died on December 18, 1958 in Del City, Oklahoma.
Benjamin Hale Cade was my great-grandfather. His son William 'Bill' Earl Cade, was my grandfather. And his daughter Dorothy Lorraine Cade who married Ray Wiley Mudgett, were my parents. This is why I asked for the transfer.
