Services for Mrs. Annie M. Goldsberry will be Wednesday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Goldsberry, 81, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital, following a lingering illness. She was born in Wax, Grayson County, Ky., a daughter of James Thomas and Elizabeth Pierce Alvey. Her husband, John R. Goldsberry, died Dec. 8, 1951. A daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Saxer, also preceded her in death on July 13, 1964.

She had resided in Springfield 40 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lois Stanks, Mrs. Marjorie Gue, Mrs. Mary Hayes, Mrs. Elsie Flynn and Mrs. Frances Harrington; four sons, Claude, Ewell, Leonard and Robert Goldsberry; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. - Illinois State Journal, Springfield, Il, Tuesday, April 25, 1967
