NORMAN EDWARD PATTERSON 62 of 6917 S. Stevens St., Tacoma died this morning in a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1897 in Wasioja, Minnesota near Rochester. He had lived in Tacoma for 31 years.

Norman worked as a revenue accounting supervisor for the telephone company for 32 years, joining while he lived in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. He married Coral V. Hooper in 1918 at Crookston, Minnesota. He was a member and former elder of the Manitou Presbyterian Church and a member of Pioneers, a telephone company organization.

Surviving are his wife, Coral Vivian; six sons, Glen E., Lester M., George S., Gordon L., Darrell D. and Kenneth L. and 14 grandchildren all of Tacoma. Also four sisters, Mrs. Jess Rogers, Mrs. Elizabeth Stevenson, Mrs. Margaret Bringgold, and Mrs. Nellie Miller all living in Minnesota.

Services for Norman were held at 1:30 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Home with Rev Robert Roach officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Louis Mitchell, Walter Peterson, Harry Warner, Charles Prouis, Horton Sarff and Leonard Hansen.
