Alex Ray Bieri of Evart died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. He was 86.
He was born Jan. 23, 1917 in Evart to John and Gladys (Head) Bieri. He married Ruth M. Connor on Feb. 19, 1946. She preceded him in death March 22, 2000.
Mr. Bieri resided on a third-generation family farm in Evart. He served in the First Armored Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He had retired from Evart Products Lauman Road plant in 1979. He enjoyed being an important part of his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild's lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John B.; and infant son, Alex Bieri Jr.
