DEATH OF MRS. ANNA WRIGHT
Mrs. Anna Wright, who fell at the M. E. church several weeks ago and broke her hip, passed away at her home in north Chariton on Monday evening, April 2, 1917, at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Jos. W. Goosell, were held at the M. E. church yesterday afternoon at one o'clock, and this morning the remains were taken to the Humeston cemetery for interment.
Anna Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Foster, was born in Harrison county, Indiana, on Jan. 27, 1843. She was united in marriage to Amos Wright on August 23, 1862. Six children blessed this union, three of whom, with her beloved companion preceded her to the heavenly home.
Those surviving are Jesse C. and Harry, of English township; Mrs. Jennie Sheets, of Cambria. One sister, Mrs. Amos Snell, of Alpha, Ill., and one brother, Frederick Foster, of Woodburn, also remain to mourn the loss of this noble woman.
Mrs. Wright united with the church when she was but a child, and has since lived a faithful, devoted Christian life. It was while attending special meetings at the church that she met with the accident which resulted in her death.
She was a grand, good woman, a splendid neighbor, and was beloved by all who knew her. The surviving children will have the sympathy of the community in their grief.

Gravesite Details
