On November 19, 1912, she married Samuel Major (Sam) Benjamin, with the ceremony being performed by Rev. S. T. Matthews, in Greenville, SC; she was his second wife. There were four children of his first marriage, Samuel Horace Benjamin, Ray Neal Benjamin, William Earl Benjamin and Guy Forrester Benjamin, and two child of his second marriage, Mary Elizabeth Benjamin (Hanson) and James Dodd Benjamin (about whom little has been learned.)
