June DuBois, 69 Rosemead, Calif., formerly of this area, died Dec. 27, 1990 at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born in Platte County and moved to Southern California in 1959. Mrs. DuBois owned a vending machine services company in California for 27 years , retiring in 1987. Survivors include a son, David DuBois, , a daughter, Donna Mowrey, and a brother, Bud Leipard, all of Kansas City; two sisters, Lucille Jones and Dorothy Clifton, of Platte City, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rollins Chapel, Platte City. cremation. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to Children's Mercy Hospital.
