Norman Leon "Dick" Bain Sr, 51, of Mooresville, died from natural causes July 3, 1996 at his residence. Born June 29, 1945 in Morgan County, he was the son of Norman Hilton Bain, who survives, and the late Muzzetta Mae Terrell-Delk Bain. He was employed for several years as an assembly line worker at Chevrolet in Indianapolis. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Other survivors include a son, Norman L. Bain Jr of Mooresville; two daughters, Donna L. Bird of Plainfield and Lorrie K. Brewer of Monrovia; a sister, Phyllis Jean Dant of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and five grandchildren. His service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. The Rev. William E. Wright will officiate. Burial will be in West Union Friends Cemetery in Monrovia.
