She was born in Edykuhnen, East Prussia on April 6, 1925, a daughter of Alexander and Bertha Sager Hintz.
She resided in Chester before moving to Washington eight years ago.
A graduate of Bernardsville High School, she was employed in the braiding department of the former Co-Operative Industries in Chester, also worked at the Washington Can Co. in Washington.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed crossword puzzles, flowers, birds and the beach.
A brother, Otto Hintz died earlier.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Sutton, Changewater; three daughters, Linda Devlin and her husband, Thomas of Changewater, Karla Levesque and husband, Dennis of Ware, N.H. and Paula Carolus and husband, Scott of Port Colden; grandchildren, Corey, Marcie, Kristin, James, Rebecca, Jennifer, Jessica, Jason and Scotty; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gustav Hintz and wife, Helen of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
