Mr. Cunningham came to Wyoming with his parents in 1917. The family first settled at Lusk. Ed had made his home in this vicinity since then, working as a cowboy and ranch hand for a number of outfits. He was on a ranch near Worland when he took ill. He passed away in the Worland hospital.

He was inducted into army service in 1943, but was given a medical discharge early in 1944. While in service he was an army cook at a New Mexico training camp. He never married.

Surviving are his father and step-mother of Shawnee; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Maguire of Lance Creek, Mrs. Doris Brose of North Hollywood, Calif.; and Mrs. Jessie Roush of Douglas; two brothers, Lyle of Shanwee and Francis C., now with the navy in the south Pacific.
