LONG BRANCH -- Michael J. Buono, 55, of 397 Sairs Ave., was fatally stricken yesterday while working in Montgomery Ward, Monmouth shopping Center, Eatontown, where he was manager of the men's department.
He was born in Brooklyn, son of the late Scipione and Vita Pistioa Buono, and had lived here 50 years. Mr. Buono was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, West End.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Tarricone Buono; a son, Michael J. Buono, Jr., and two daughters, Misses Linda and Barbara Buono, all at home; two brothers, Joseph and John Buono, and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Rota and Miss Anne Buono, all of this city.
The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home, followed by a requiem mass at 9:30 o'clock in St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
