(BOWDON, Ga.) Services for Mrs. Willie Faye Holloway, 85, of Bowdon, Ga.,
were Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel, Wedowee, with
Jason Adams officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway died Tuesday, June 29, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, J. D. Holloway of Bowdon; one daughter, Jean
Williams of Bowdon; four sisters, Lillie Mae Browning of Rabun Gap, Ga., Jackie
Cobb of Roanoke, Mattie Kay Holloway of Wedowee and Foy Saxon of Graham; four
brothers, Hilton Wallace of Roanoke, Rex Wallace of Newell, Bob Wallace of
Oklahoma and Wayne Wallace of Northport; two grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tony Saxon, Russ Wallace, Gary Holloway, Ronald Holloway,
Buddy Holloway and Marion Holloway.
Mrs. Holloway was born Oct. 30, 1918, daughter of Robert Milford Wallace and
Lola McKay Wallace. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Bowdon, and had
been employed by Southwire Company.
Arrangements were by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee.
