Mr. Holloway was born Oct. 2, 1919, son of Pleasant and Myrtle Bailey Holloway. He was a Baptist, a farmer and served in the United States Army during WWII.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Williams of Bowdon; sisters, Cordelle Adams of Wedowee, Ala., Retha Daniel of Roanoke, Ala; brothers, Doyle Holloway and Esul Holloway, both of Wedowee; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Faye Holloway; and a son, little Robert Holloway.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee with Rev. Jason Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
