Janet M. (Lippert) DeHart, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at her daughter's home. She was the widow of the late Paul L. DeHart.
Janet was born in Harrisburg, PA on March 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Marie (Gibbons) and Edward Lippert.
She was a member of the Keystone Aquatic Club and had a passion for gardening, knitting, spending time with her family and going to the casinos. She was a retired bank teller for Wachovia Bank.
Surviving are her four children, Diana Gould and husband, Robert, of Enola, Bonita Lyter, of New Bloomfield, Michael O'Keefe, of Tampa, Fl. and Patricia Straining and husband, Stephen, of Harrisburg, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
Viewing will be held from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc., 1334 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, Pa. 17102 . Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 9th, in the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, Pa. NEUMYER
