Hope Grant Corey, daughter of Paul Hiett and Iva (Grant) McMillin, was born March 29, 1910 in Roche Harbor, Washington, and passed away April 10, 1993, while a resident of Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years and 12 days.

On June 29, 1938, in Everett, Washington, she was married to Howard Grant Corey.

This union was blessed a daughter, Candace.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Hope moved from Honolulu, Hawaii, in May 1992 to the Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Nebraska.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Giles Grant Corey.

Survivors include her daughter, Candace Corey Charlot of Hastings, Nebraska; a sister, Iva-Lou Steele of Nelson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 15, 1993, at 2 p.m. from the United Methodist Church in Nora, Nebraska, with Rev. Jerry Heydenberk officiating. The family requests no flowers or memorials. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska, is in charge of the arrangements.
