Survived by his wife of Fairfield, a son Joseph Henry Stagg III of Fairfield; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Goff of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Helen Stagg McKim of Fairfield; a brother, Dwight Stagg of Fairfield; a niece and a nephew.
