Mr. DeLisa was born in Long Branch and was the son of Peter DeLisa, this place, and the late Mrs. Josephine Buono DeLisa.
He was the owner of DeLisa Brothers, plumbing and heating contractors, and was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church and Phil Daly Fire Co. He belonged also to the Long Branch First Aid Squad. He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving also are four brothers, Michael, Frank, William and Carmen DeLisa, and three sisters, Miss Rose DeLisa, Miss Frances DeLisa and Mrs. Mary Boer, all of Long Branch.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Star of the Sea Church, where a requiem mass will be offered. burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under direction of the Damiano Funeral Home.
