Carole G. Allen, 61, a registered nurse, died Friday at 9:35 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, where she was a patient for one day.
A resident of 202 N. Main St., Manheim, she was last employed as head nurse at Lancashire Hall, Neffsville. She received her nursing degree while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.
She was a member of Living Word Fellowship Church, Manheim, and a graduate of Denver High School. She also belonged to the Ephrata Amvets.
Surviving are five children:
Henry, Ardelle, Melrose, Christine
15 grandchildren
a half brother, Robert Wershing.
