He was united in marriage to Beverly (?) Jones Hardwick in Houston, Texas.
Carvin worked for himself in construction all of his life.
Carvin is survived by his wife Beverly of the home; four sons Eric Jones, Brandon Hardwick, Adam Hardwick, and Justin Hardwick; two daughters Ashley Hardwick, and Cassey Hardwick; two brothers Everett Hardwick, and Jeff Hardwick; two sisters Gina Chapman, and Marcel Richardson; seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at The Garden Of [of] Memories Cemetery, Arma, KS.
