Daughter of Eddie Ross and Edith Agnes (Brasfield) Kirkpatrick. Married Michael Arthur Schultz on August 16, 1937 at Chalk Level, St. Clair Co., Missouri. They had three children: Alberta Marie and husband Gary Knotts, Geraldine and husband Robert Scherkenbach; and Robert Eugene Schultz and wife Myra.
She second married Wesley Clark Comer on April 2, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ella Marie Comer, age 77, of San Diego, CA died April 25, 2000 at Birch Patrick Nursing Home in Chula Vista, CA. She had been ill for three months with latter stages of Parkinson disease.

The daughter of Eddie Ross and Agnes Edith (Brasfield) Kirkpatrick, she was born April 14, 1923 in Queen City, MO. On August 16, 1937 she was married to Michal Arthur Schultz in St. Clair County, MO. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1958. On April 2, 1965 she married Wesley Clark Comer in Las Vegas, NV.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley, of their home in San Diego, CA and three children by her first marriage: Alberta Marie Knotts and husband Gary of Salisbury, MO, Geraldine Scherkenbach and husband Robert of San Diego., CA and Robert Eugene Schultz and wife, Myra of Ramona, CA, two step-children: Wesley D. Comer and wife Angela of Encinitas, CA and Pamela Hardesty of El Cajon, CA; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers Floyd Kirkpatrick and wife Joyce of Bremerton, WA and Donald Ray Kirkpatrick and wife Genita of Kirksville, MO; five sisters: Dixie Lee Zack and husband Alvin of Linn Creek, MO, Juanita Heath of Osceola, MO, Maxine Sanders and husband Sandy of Marysville, CA, Elaine Ambrose of Kirksville, MO, and Barbara Myers of Novinger, MO.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, a brother Elvis Kirkpatrick and a sister, Frances King.

Her remains have been cremated and memorial services will be held in San Diego on May 6, 2000 with her grandson, Rev. Neil Shultz, conducting the service. Burial will be May 8th at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery at Point Loma, CA.
