William Henry Erdwins Jr., who died from the effects of a gun shot wound, at his home in Perts [sic], Colo., November 10, following a long period of ill health, was brought to Iola by Mrs. Erdwins, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cox who operate a grocery in East Iola. Rev. B.W. Hugg paid tribute to the memory of the deceased at the services conducted by the Masons at the Adams & Hesser Chapel yesterday. The body was then shipped to Neosho Falls for burial.
