Charles Edward Vanzant, 72, of Morrisonville, was found dead after an apparent fall from a corn crib on the Marvin Bost farm, south of Morrisonville on Saturday, Oct, 30, 1959.

He married the former Lois Rittger on August 31, 1910 in Morrisonville, she survived him along with their sons; Darrell of Tuscola; Chester of Morrisonville; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Lloyd of Tuscola; four brothers, Roy, William, Ambrose and Harry; two sisters, Myrtle Vanzant and Fern Vanzant.

Mr. Vanzant was a member of the Morrisonville Methodist Church, a Men's Club at the church and the Kiwanis Club.

Burial in Morrisonville Cemetery with Bivin Funeral Home.
