Frederick O. Schlenker, 72, of 138 Wentz St., Kutztown, died Saturday morning in his residence.
Born in Bowers, a son of the late John and Kate (Stoudt) Schlenker, he was employed at Fenstermacher & Son Hardware, Kutztown, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of Christ (DeLong's) United Church of Christ, Bowers; and the Lyons and Kutztown fire companies.
Surviving are his widow, Verna M. (Stettler) Schlenker, and four brothers: Herbert J., York; Charles L., Fleetwood R.D. 1; Paul W., Lyons, and Harvey W., Kutztown.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 a.m. in the William S. Fritz Funeral Home, Kutztown, the Rev. John J. Stoudt officiating. Burial will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Maxatawny.
