Brenda F. Bush, Galesburg Chapel 59, of Galesburg died at 11:29 a.m. Friday September 9, 2011 in Cottage Hospital.
She was born August 10, 1952 in Dante, Va the daughter of Omer R. and Ruth Lucille Ramsey Pippin. She married Richard Bush on February 4, 1972 in Galesburg. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lucille Faith Bush and Jessica Hope Bush, both of Galesburg; a brother, Omer Rondall "Ronnie" Pippin of Alabama and six sisters, Macie Davis of New Jersey, Betty Jessee of Virginia, Louise Metcalf of New Jersey, Sue Cochran of Alabama, Doris Powell of North Carolina and Gail Macklin of Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda worked for JoAnn Fabrics and was a homemaker. She loved musicals and movies. She also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday September 13, 2011 in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
