Obituary - Alger C. Pelnar, age 76, of 1122 Hawthorne Ave., Two Rivers, died August 3, 1992 at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. David Beaudry will be officiating with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
He was born in Two Rivers, May 25, 1916, son of the late John and Theresa Pupeter Pelnar. He married Doris Kenzile on July 30, 1940 at St. Luke's in Two Rivers. He was a master plumber working on commercial and industrial plumbing jobs throughout the state. Alger was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Doris, of Two Rivers, one son and daughter-in-law, John and Mary Jo Pelnar of Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Polly and James Schaus of Manitowoc, Sally and Todd Eesley of Two Rivers; one sister, Elzena Phalen of Two Rivers, eight grandchildren, Mrs. Mark (Victoria) Seehafer of Two Rivers, Mrs. Jeff (Chris) Havlichek of Oak Creek, Lisa and Kelly Schaus of Manitowoc, Kay Eesley of Euliss, Tx., John Pelnar, Jr., Derek and Patrick Pelnar all of Two Rivers; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. this evening. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
