Died - 04 Feb 1952 - Carlinville, Macoupin Co, IL, USA - at the Macoupin County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Alice Slaughter

Mrs. Alice Voyles Slaughter of Gillipse Died at 10:15 am Monday mourning at the Macoupin County nursing home,Carlinville.She was 77 years old.
Mrs. Slaughter was born March 8 1874 at Irving, a daughter of Richard and Margaret Simpkins Voyles.She was married on Christmas Day 1893 to George Slaughter,Who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons Clarence of gillipse Oscar and Walter,both of Chicago,George of St.Louis and Elmer Slaughterof El paso Calif.,
and a Brother Walter Voyles,of Gillipse.Two daughters Margaret and Mildred,preceded her in Death.
Services were held yesterday(Wednesday)at gillipse Methodist church. The Rev.Homer Young officiated and burial was in Gilipse cemetery.
