Theresa Girouard Allen, 74 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at the hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on December 7, 1936 in Loreauville, Louisiana to the late Junius Louis Girouard and Louise Marie Chataignier Girouard. Theresa was raised in Loreauville. She married Don Allen on May 11, 1962 in New Iberia, Louisiana and in 1975 they moved to Kingston, Oklahoma from Morgan City, Louisiana. Theresa was self employed in many businesses and she was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Madill. Theresa enjoyed painting, antique and junk hunting, making pottery and stain glass. Theresa liked Indian art and history, gardening and reading. Her greatest joy was entertaining family, friends and spending time with her grandkids.
