JOHN ABDON
Funeral services for John Abdon, 80, of 1330 High St., are to be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at South Shore Regular Baptist Church.
Abdon was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital Saturday at 6:55 a.m. after becoming ill at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eliza Abdon; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jose Hahn, 1821 Grandview Ave., and Mrs. Robert Malone, 2405 Norway Rd.; two brothers, Charlie of York, Ky., and Robert of Sciotoville; four sisters, Mrs. Lil Warnock of South Shore, Mrs. Violene Stephens and Mrs. Inez Braden, both of Greenup, Ky., and Mrs. Mary Bloomfield of Warnock, Ky.
He was a son of the late John and Julia Abdon and was a retired employe of the Norfolk & Western Railway after 40 years of service.
Revs. Garland Mullins and J.H. Mitchell are to officiate. Burial is to be in Siloam Cemetery under direction of Roberson Funeral Home.
