John A Lemom was Senator from 1873-1880 part of the time. From 1873-1875 from Bedford,Fulton,Blair and Somerset County and from 1875-1879 From Blair and Cambria Countys. He was followered by Henry A Boggs of Cambria County. 1881 -1889 John Lemon again became Senator served until his Death in 1895

Funeral of John A. Lemon.
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa., Sept. 18. - This town was crowded to-day with the mourning friends of ex-Auditor-General John A. Lemon. The funeral services this afternoon were conducted by Rev. S. T. Freeser and D. H. Barron, D. D. Business was suspended. Auditor-General Mylin, State Treasurer Jackson, Senator S. J. McCarrell, Sergeant-at-Arms Harrah, Boles Penrose, John C. Grady, George Handy Smith, C. Wesley Thomas and many other state senators and representatives were here. The interment was in the Presbyterian cemetery of this city.
